With the HAAG axial flow, we have made a virtue of necessity. The axial valves offered on the market did not meet our technical requirements. That is why we developed and built our own valve together with Cristian Bosc.
The system of axial valve switching enables air flow switching without loss of cross section. You experience neither blowing resistance nor change in sound when switching the valve. This results in optimal playing comfort with trombones that use the HAAG axial valve.
We are installing the valve in our trombones with great success. Other trombone manufacturers also use our valve in their instruments.
